Patriots Face Stiff Challenge vs. M.L. King
The Patriots will head to Dekald County to face the M.L. King Lions in the first round of the GHSA Class AAAAA state playoffs. The Lions are 10-0 and ranked #2 in the state. They feature a big and fast defense that has held their opponents to just 10.3 points per game. Their leader is linebacker Tyran Golden, who is 6'3" 210 lbs and runs a 4.6 forty. Offensively, the Lions post an average of 32 points per game, and are led up front by their highly recruited OG Aaron Hawkins, who stands at 6'4" and weighs in at a hefty 297 pounds.
